Florida rapper Kodak Black seems to be in trouble once again as he’s reportedly been indicted by a Florence County grand jury on charges of first degree criminal sexual conduct last November in Florence, according to Twelfth Circuit Solicitor Ed Clements.
A Florence County Sheriff’s Office incident report says the assault happened back in February while Kodak was in Florence for a show at the Treasure City nightclub.
Kodak Black is accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl, who first reported it to her school nurse in Richland County. The school resource officer got involved and made the Florence County Sheriff’s Office aware of the allegations.
The report says Octave sexually assaulted the girl at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Florence County.
Kodak was released from the Florence County Detention Center Thursday, Dec. 1, on a $100,000 bond. Clements said other bond conditions for Octave are that he can’t comment on the allegations against him by way of print, electronic , digital or social media. If he violates the terms of the bond order, his bond could be revoked.
Kodak Black is also ordered not to have any contact with the victim or the victim’s family, Clements said.
Kodak’s attorney Beattie Ashmore of Greenville declined comment on the matter when his client was initially arrested.
Clements said if Octave is convicted, he faces up to 30 years in prison.
No word on when a trial date will be set.
